Derya Kartoz is Metallurgy and Materials Engineer, graduated from Middle East Technical University (1982). He has been awarded with 40.th year honor medal from METU on 2022.

Derya Kartoz has been in construction machine production industry since 1982. Together with manufacturing (Uyan Hidrolik Makina co.), he actively got premium role in automotive industry since 1992. He started international trading activities from 2002, which goes on. ​

​

Derya Kartoz worked as chairman, CEO or general manager in several world famous companies in their Turkey - Middle East and CIS countries’ distributor companies, which are mainly acting in the fields of automotive, motorcycle, marine, construction machines, e-trade, metals and consultancy services.

He worked successfully in executive management as either the general manager or CEO in distributor companies in Turkey.

During his professional duty period, he sold more than 30,000 units of vehicles in world famous automotive industry brands by fullfilling the import - sales - marketing - affter sales activities and legal requirements:

He is one of the founders of re-export and transit export trade system of cars and commercial vehicles in Turkey in 1993.

Since that time, he is involved in import and export of passenger cars and commercial vehicles from sources in Turkey, USA, UK, Russia and Europe to customers in Russian Federation, Middle East, CIS countries, Macedonia, Egypt, Lithuania  and Ukraine.

He established the local production facilities of Russian Federation GAZ Gazelle in Sakarya (transferred to Russian main company).

​

He established a company with Mr. Mehmet Sabancı for MG-ROVER distribution.

He transferred the executive distributorhip into this partnership by Mr. Mehmet Sabancı.
